In November 2018, the Supercars drivers will take on a challenging circuit that runs through the eastern end of the Newcastle CBD taking in scenic views along Shortland Esplanade, Newcastle and Nobby's beaches and Newcastle Harbour, 2.6km in length.

Fast and furious is the name of the game when Supermoto racing returns to Newcastle this September.
Headlining the weekend is the FIM Oceania Newcastle International Supermoto incorporating the Australian National Supermoto Championships. Not only will the best riders from Australia and New Zealand vie for the title, competitors from USA, Europe and Asia are making the trek down under to win this prestigious event. With riders including WSBK champ Troy Bayliss, Japanese Flat track sensation Masatoshi Ohmori and current AMA Pro Open Supermoto champ Gage McAllister in attendance the local legends will have their work cut out for them.
The Newcastle International Supermoto returns to the Newcastle Foreshore for this year's competition. The course is a challenging combination of road circuit and a purpose-built dirt section that will test man and machine and make for exhilarating racing.
